After obtaining permission from the Guild, the prickings were redrawn and worked by 26 Japanese lacemakers.

The author and her students are donating all of their profits from the book to The Japanese Red Cross Society..

All patterns have a very clear pricking, a detailed working diagram and a photograph of the worked lace.
