Bibilla is a form of knotted lace, using a needle, that is believed to have originated in antiquity and has been practiced in various eastern European countries - and can still be found in modern Turkey. The author has modified the traditional techniques to make her flowers as realistic as possible.
The book opens with a section on technique with simple exercises to enable the methods to be learned. There then follows a number of projects to make various attractive garden and wild flowers that can be found in the author''s native Australia.
The book is fully illustrated with many colour photographs and working diagrams as well as full written pattern instructions.
