More New Books - and there are several other new titles to add extra interest to the new lacemaking season and, as always, you can depend on Roseground to bring them to you. Two titles published in France continue the success of the popular series from that source that have continued in popularity for many years - now we have Odettet Arpin's Cluny de Brioude - Dentelle Polychrome (our reaction was "wow") and Dentelle de Valenciennes - les Bases, an excellent and welcome beginners' book by Sophie Houpeurt-Mollaret. From the very talented designer, Kumiko Nakazaki, we are pleased to bring you her latest pattern folder, Mille Fleurs. And, amongst a number of other new titles, there is Pettersson Lace by Wivi-Ann Nordström - which sets out, in detail, her research into this Swedish lace that looks like Torchon but works in an interesting and unusual way.
New Range of Painted Bobbins - "Amanda D" started painting for us about two years ago and we are very pleased to announce that her new range of bobbins - all in her distinctive style but ranging from the "traditional" to the "funky" - has been very popular at lace days since we started to offer them earlier this year. Each comes with a matching painted bottom bead - take a look !
Even more Good News for Tatters - After our introduction of Lizbeth thread in size 20 in 2009, it has certainly received a warm welcome and now has a firm following throughout the tatting world. Early this year, we widened the range of shades for size 20 and we now able to announce that we are stocking a range of colours in size 40.
More Patterns - those able to visit us at events will know that we have been widening our range of lace patterns for some time. Now we are able to announce that we are beginning to extend the range and variety of patterns we are able to make available by mail order as well. As part of that. we are very pleased to announce that we are now offering a comprehensive range of Biggins Torchon lace patterns. Take a look and make your selection. either just the pattern or with the recommended Finca threads.

"new2006") either over all the site or within any category in the shop. It will work too in following years. using "2007", "2008", "2009" and so. on.
