Spanish Braid Lace - Witch Stitch - Fan Patterns

The latest publication featuring this numerical braid lace from SW Spain, this time containing seven exquisite fan designs. Although intended for all abilities, it is recommended that the lacemaker has some experience with this lace type. Nevertheless, a section detailing the various stitches with detailed diagrams and photographs is given. Each fan pattern is complete with a photograph of the finished lace and a useful diagram showing the required fan stick size. Most of the finished pieces are relatively large requiring enlargement of the pattern in a photocopier to the scale shown. As is the custom, the patterns are presented without dots; the lacemaker pins evenly along the braid.
