A treasure-house of patterns - 69 in all - for Chantilly lace, point ground lace worked in black silk. A section of new designs, sometimes inspired by old pieces, another with patterns developed from old designs and a section on Blonde laces are included.

 

Each pattern is presented in the extremely high standard for which the author is well known, and is supported by extremely clear photographs. Working diagrams and notes are provided where appropriate.

 

A working knowledge of the techniques is assumed - although some early patterns are explained in detail and the patterns are graded by the author by degree of experience required.
