The book starts with a short introduction, a brief history of this lace and a chapter on equipment.
The author then provides chapters on basic techniques, braids and connections, flowers and curls and leaves, fillings and berries. Patterns are provided at each appropriate point.
Each aspect is supported by clear working diagrams and there are black-and-white photographs throughout.
Three further patterns as well as sections on mounting, using the lace and designing are also included.
In excellent condition except for very minor scuffing to the dust jacket. Signed by author on title page.  Previous owners' bookplate inside front cover and suppliers sticker on front endpaper. Price clipped with added price sticker
