Bobbin Lace Balls - Geklöppelte Kugeln

Bobbin Lace Balls - Geklöppelte Kugeln

£10.50

by Ann E Wild

Includes patterns and instructions for making 18 tape lace balls and 27 bobbin lace tapes. Some of the balls are wonderfully transparent and delicate, others are colourful and almost solid in appearance. Some are great for the Christmas tree. Others are better on mobiles or hung in a window

The finished balls consist solely of lace and are made in one piece and keep their shape without any support. They are made on a styrofoam ball on which the three-dimensional pricking is pinned. During working, the styrofoam ball is held in a pit on the pillow (typically used normally for moveable blocks). Alternatively, Instructions are included for making yourself a suitable pillow.

The prickings, colour assisted working diagrams, thread diagrams and instructions are easy to follow and most of the balls are made with just a few pairs of bobbins, encouraging beginners too!

In excellent condition. Signed by author on pre-title page.
