Adapted from an old pattern by Anne-Marie Verbeke-Billiet and worked by Trudie Van de Berg
A pattern for a circular mat (approx 25cm diameter) in Binche lace based on a old pattern featuring a dancing couple
Also features a large format version (scaled to 325%), worked by Danny Olevier, which he calls 'Manten and Kulle'. a traditional inseparable couple in the Belgian city of Kortrijk (Courtrai) who feature in the belfry in the market place there
Includes a pricking, photogaphs of finished work and thread/bobbin notes in Engllsh, Dutch, German, French, Spanish and Italian
