Barjac OmbréeBooks by Ulrike Voelcker are always popular, never disappoint and are therefore eagerly awaited.

Now we have news of her latest publication – Barjac Ombrée – which features an otherwise forgotten French lace, rediscovered  and given a name  by the author, just a few years ago.

The lace uses a continuous thread and includes elements of Chantilly, Milanese, Torchon and Chrysanthe techniques.

This beautifully presented book will contain both reconstructions of the re-discovered technique and new designs – almost 60 patterns.in total.

It is expected to be published at the end of September 2014 and we expect to have copies as soon as they are released. Be amongst the first to own a copy by pre-ordering now. Click here to do this on line or email us if you will soon be seeing us at an event and wish to reserve a copy for collection there.
