A collection of 40 lace patterns each in a Temari style - referring to the intricate and decorative embroidery that is a hallmark of the traditional Japanese craft of temari
Full size designs - 7.5 cm approximately in diameter and half size designs - 4.25 cm approximately in diameter
Each pattern has a photograph of the finished work, a pricking, usually a working diagram and thread/bobbin notes
Predominantly Torchon and Bedfordshire lace techniques used - a superb choice of designs
Rieko won the Individuals Trophy in the Lace Guild "Treasure" 2025 (for the best competition entry) and also the Teacher's Award (for the best entry by a teacher) competition with a montage of the Temari patterns
