A reminder of days on or by the river - an ebony bobbin featuring a traditional barge design painting.

English pink roses highlighted with white along with summer green leaves highlighted with cadmium yellow adorn this bobbin.

Painted on an East Midlands Black Chacote bobbin and supplied with a matching spangle complete with painted wooden bead.

NB: Black Chacote is a replacement wood for Ebony - it is more brown in colour but still a lovely wood to have on your pillow. The photograph currently shows the Ebony bobbin.
