Dentelles de Cogne
The story of lace and lace making in Cogne, a small community in the Gran Paradiso National Park in the Aosta Valley of Northern Italy. Although there is some evidence that lace making was practiced there in the 17th Century, most of what survives today is based on evidence from the 19th century.
The text of the book is in Italian, French and English and this supports the set of magnificent, full-page photographs of lace making, lace makers and their equipment in use today as well as pictures of the lace that is made.
In essentially as-new condition.
