The authors have produced an exhaustive 'encyclopedia' of Russian lace grounds, based on their extensive research.
In all, 95 variations are presented here as a reference book rather than a project source. Each ground has a diagram in black and another in red and blue showing the course of the plaits.An introduction describes the basic thread movements using the diagram colours. A reference to 'patterns' in the introduction appears to refer to a number of photographs (only) for finished pieces.
