Fillings from Hunnia Lace

Another well presented book from France, produced with the guidance of Mick Fouriscot. This time it explores Hunnia Lace, a tape lace with a net ground from Hungary that had its origins in distant times which was re-discovered by Gizella Fay (née Edvi-illés) around the end of the 19th century. She was to develop and promote it until her death in 1944 with help from her family over the years.
The text is in French, English and German throughout.
There follows an excellent section which first describes the techniques, in great detail, supported by many clear diagrams and incorporates 13 patterns with prickings and working diagrams.
