In this booklet, the author describes how to make simple, attractive flowers and add some butterflies, in cloth stitch or half stitch - something she claims is 'within the scope of the near beginner'. After a section on the basic techniques that are used throughout, the author provides pattern for 22 different flowers followed by another for butterflies which can be varied for a variety of different types.
Each pattern has a pricking, working diagram, drawing and text instructions for each of the flower's components..
