This sequel to the popular 'Idrija - Idrija Narrow Stitch & Double Stitch' features the Half Stitch, often found in combination with tape lace techniques in Idrija lace.
After a section describing the half stitch techniques, the remainder of the book has a number of projects designed to develop a knowledge of the technique. A knowledge of the narrow stitch techniques is assumed.
These exercises and projects were drawn by Ms Maja Svetlik, a pattern designer at the Idrija Lace School, supported by the the school staff.
The book is fully supported with photographs, clearly drawn diagrams and appropriate text. Each of the exercises and projects has a photograph of the finished piece, a very well presented pattern and colour-coded working diagrams as appropriate.
