A must-have for the lace connoisseur, consisting of a series of beautiful photographs of 45 pieces of exquisite old lace with an individual sheet for each piece. Each piece is photographed three times - an overall view, an actual size view of a section of the piece and a x5 view to show the detail of the techniques. This presentation provides for easy comparison between pieces.

A wide variety of classic lace types, both bobbin and needle, are covered - including Milanese, Valenciennes, Flemish, Mechlin, Brabante, Duchess, Reticella and Honiton

Includes 45 fold-out sheets, a 32 page summary of the history of lace, all contained in a card box

Fold out sheets and booklet are in very good condition. Box has split corners, probably caused by weight of the contents, and edge bumps.
