Between November, 1984 and February, 1985,. the Musée des Beaux-Arts et de la Dentelle held an exhibition that displayed the best from its collection if fine lace, covering the period between the 16th and the 20th centuries.
This catalogue, in the French language, was issued to support the exhibition. It opens with sections describing the history of lace and lace making in France as well as details of the lace making areas there.
