This white-on-white Irish embroidery takes its name from the place in Ireland where it was developed, probably.in the first half of the 19th century.
There are sections on the historical background, photographs of old pieces, a bibliography and a section on technique with a sampler for practice. A large pattern section contains 70 clearly drawn projects.
