Ollie and Friends Bookmark - Swimathon 2026
Ollie and Friends is a fun design to make using Bedfordshire techniques, to celebrate the 40 years of Swimathon and all the fundraising.
The pattern was designed to reflect that this year Louise is doing the swim at an organised event rather than at her own gym pool, and so it will be swimming with others for the first time with a focused purpose. Although only doing 1500 metres this year, she sees this as a way of contributing in the 40th year of the event, as she has not been able to do much training.

The pattern uses approximately 70 pairs of bobbins. 3mm flat sequins may also be added
This pattern is available in paper format or in a "Ready To Work" laser cut option
The pattern sheet will donate £2 and the Ready to work donates £5 to the two Swimathon charities - Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie Nurses.
