Three Flower Motifs
Louise West has designed three patterns using three different lace techniques - Bedfordshire, Bucks Point and Torchon. The patterns were designed withe the use of colour in mind in order to make the flowers the promient feature. A variegated thread was used for the gimp to give depth and variety to the flowers.
Bedfordshire Motif ~ worked in Finca 60 and Cotton Perle 8 ~ approximately 50 pairs plus 1 gimp pair
Bucks Point Motif ~ worked in Finca 100 and Cotton Perle 8 ~ approximately 21 pairs plus 2 gimp pairs
Torchon Motif ~ worked in Fil a Dentelle (or you could use Finca 40) ~ approximately 19 pairs plus 2 gimp pairs
There is a bonus round motif for the more experienced Bucks Point worker.
