I am a lace designer, maker and teacher based in Derby, UK and I design mostly Bedfordshire and a few Bucks point lace designs. I produce all the designs myself and also produce laser cut patterns, with the holes and markings in place on card (ready to work) for all the designs I publish. The aim is to give the lacemaker an accurate starting point to produce their best work and an enjoyable pattern to make this process fun. Many people have difficulty in producing an accurate pricking, this helps them get on with the making and to achieve their dreams in lace.
